Accessing eBooks

Let's face it. Technology is taking over the world. While I am one individual who is odd enough to admit I love the smell of ink and paper, (I may have even purchased a candle scented "Library") and I would much prefer a physical book, digital collections are becoming more relevant.

The library I work for has a few different apps that allow our patrons to access eBooks and audiobooks digitally. These are Libby, Hoopla, and Freading. To access material through these apps, one simply needs a library card. Once the app is downloaded a patron simply needs to search for there specific library, input their library card number, and begin reading or listening. I have added links below to access Hoopla and Libby.

Library Catalogs

Three words.... Dewey Decimal Death.... sorry I meant System. Do not fret however, the Library catalog is not near as daunting as it formerly may have seemed. The library catalog today is much more user friendly, and can assist in finding items in your library. To search for material it is possible to use an items title, author, or subject. There is also the option of using keywords.
